Moon Cycles

I’ve been sharing lately about the “White Moon Cycle”, this is the most common cycle for women to align with and means you get your period during the new moon, and ovulate during the full moon. However, some women find that they ovulate and get their period during different times. There are actually 4 possible cycles you could be aligned with:

White Moon Cycle The White Moon Cycle is the most common cycle to sync up with. This cycle means that you menstruate on the new moon and ovulate with the full moon. When you are in alignment you are in balance with the Earth and Moon’s divine sync. When the moon is dark, you go within and bleed, then when the moon is full and bright, you are at your lightest and brightest. Just like the earth, you are in the cycle of fertility.

Red Moon Cycle The Red Moon Cycle is the second most common cycle. This cycle means that you bleed with the full moon and ovulate with the new moon. Women in alignment with this cycle are often the healers, wisdom-holders and magic makers. They are here to help others, so when most people are in their darkness during the new moon, red cycle women are at their brightest, and when the other women (white cycle) are at their brightest, then the red cycle women go inwards to heal and rest themselves.

Pink Moon Cycle The Pink Moon Cycle, although not as common as white or red, is just as powerful. This cycle means that you bleed with the waxing moon and ovulate with the waning moon. The waxing moon occurs after a new moon and is when the moon is building up to a full moon. So just like the waxing moon, if you are aligned with the pink moon cycle, you are most likely in a transitional stage of your life. A waxing moon is moving away from the new moon stage of inner reflection, darkness and rest and is heading towards the full moon stage, of light and strength. This usually means you are also coming out of a stage of darkness and rest in your life.

Purple Moon Cycle The Purple Moon Cycle, is also less common, but still just as powerful. This cycle means that you bleed on the waning moon and ovulate on the waxing moon. The waning moon occurs between a full moon and a new moon. If you are aligned with the purple moon cycle, you are most likely in a transitional stage of your life. A waning moon is moving away from the strength of a full moon and is heading towards the inner reflection, darkness and rest of a new moon. If you are in alignment with the purple moon cycle, it is likely you are going into a stage of quietness and rest in your life.
