Dear 10 year old me... beautiful girl, it was not your fault. He was very unwell and you did not deserve any of what happened to you. I’m so proud of you, you were so brave, you tried your hardest to keep us safe and I know that brave little girl is still trying her hardest to protect us, even now. I’m sorry the adults didn’t help you. I want you to know, I am here now, we are safe and I love you ❤️
